Research at the Institute of Microproduction Technology at Leibniz Universität Hannover focuses on novel sensors and sensor manufacturing technologies. In this video, sensor direct deposition is presented using the example of strain gauges. This is characterised, among other things, by the elimination of thick adhesive and carrier film layers, an individually adaptable sensor layout, higher achievable sensitivities and the development of measuring points where installation space is critical. In addition to the patented production system, the production process will also be presented.
