The Industrial Sensor Technology research group investigates the production of micro-tools for machining. In addition to functionality, the focus here is on the economic benefits of manufacturing several hundred tools at the same time. The tools presented in this video are micro grinding pins that are manufactured using common microsystems technology processes.
