Wear tests have been carried out in the context of various projects at the Institute of Micro Production Technology. Furthermore, through the use of different materials in micro technology, knowledge about their mechanical properties in application as a thin layer material has been gained. These properties (e.g. hardness) and characteristics (e.g. E-Modulus) can be clearly distinguished from those of solid materials. The measurement equipment is located both in the institute's laboratories as well as in the cleanroom.
