As part of the BMBF-funded iLabs Q-GALA project (funding reference 03ZU1209KB), the IMPT is developing a compact, glass-based quantum gravimeter together with the Institute of Quantum Optics and the company LPKF Laser & Electronics AG. The miniaturization of the system and the use of glass as a substrate material are the focus of the investigations.
