ZARM-Förderpreis award honours Leonard Diekmann

For his achievements in the field of miniaturisation of vacuum technology during his Master's thesis at IMPT, Leonard Diekmann received the ZARM-Förderpreis Award of the Centre for Applied Space Technology and Microgravity, endowed with 3,000€. The Centre for Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM) has been awarding the ZARM-Förderpreis annually since 1989, which rewards outstanding scientific work in the fields of fluid mechanics, microgravity, space technology, space research and space-related environmental technology. Last November at the Space Tech Expo 2022 in Bremen, Leonard Diekmann was awarded the prize for 2021 - one year late due to the pandemic.
