We usually offer insights into our research on our YouTube channel. This time, however, we are showing one of our favorite projects: The Mädchen*-und-Technik-Day 2024; presented by project manager Eileen Müller.
The IMPT organizes the Mädchen*-und-Technik-Day every year with the help of many cooperation partners. On November 18, 2024, we had more participants than ever before with 185 registrations. The schoolgirls were able to try out technology for themselves in exciting projects. We were supported by the institutes IMP, match, IFUM, IFA, IW and mbe as well as the Ada Lovelace Urenkelinnen Stiftung. Other non-university cooperation partners were Sennheiser Electronic & CO. KG, Siemens AG, AG Jugend forscht and the Federal Employment Agency. Many thanks for their support! This enables us to show the students the great diversity of technology. We also received financial support from Region Hannover, the University Office for Diversity of Opportunities, the IdeenExpo, the CRC 1153, CRC 1368 and SPP 2100, for which we are also very grateful! Now we are already looking forward to the Mädchen*-und-Technik-Day 2025!
